Go down to San Diego, see the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sdnhm.org\/scrolls\/\">Dead Sea Scrolls<\/a>, go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seaworld.com\/sandiego\/\">Seaworld<\/a>, things like that&#8230;and now <a href=\"http:\/\/pajamasmedia.com\/2007\/10\/life_under_fire_the_view_from.php\">this<\/a>. I mean really. Yes, certainly, 500,000+ people have been evacuated, but they <em>live<\/em> there! We were only going to be there a few days.<\/p>\n<p>(Humor-impaired readers: I&#8217;m contrasting my minor problems with their big ones.)<\/p>\n<p>Well. It&#8217;s pretty yucky here. Orange skies, with red glowing orb where the sun&#8217;s supposed to be&#8230;parking lots peppered with ash. Yecch.
