My trusty Canon <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dpreview.com\/products\/canon\/compacts\/canon_a620\">Powershot A620<\/a> still works, but it is literally falling apart and can&#8217;t be trusted as my primary camera any more.<\/p>\n<p>So I&#8217;m shopping. I&#8217;ve given some serious consideration to the Fujifilm <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00ATM1NBY\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B00ATM1NBY&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=accretiondisc-20\">FinePix HS35EXR<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=accretiondisc-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B00ATM1NBY\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/> and Nikon&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B0073HSH8U\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B0073HSH8U&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=accretiondisc-20\">COOLPIX P510<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=accretiondisc-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B0073HSH8U\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B00B7N9BRW\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B00B7N9BRW&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=accretiondisc-20\">S9500<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=accretiondisc-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B00B7N9BRW\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/>, but what I keep coming back to is Canon&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/B009B0MZ1M\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=390957&#038;creativeASIN=B009B0MZ1M&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;tag=accretiondisc-20\">PowerShot SX50 HS<\/a><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=accretiondisc-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=B009B0MZ1M\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve read a lot of reviews: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dpreview.com\/reviews\/canon-powershot-sx50-hs\">DP Review<\/a>, of course, and <a href=\"http:\/\/thewirecutter.com\/reviews\/the-best-superzoom-camera-is-the-canon-sx50\/\">Wirecutter<\/a>, but <a href=\"http:\/\/digital-photography-school.com\/canon-powershot-sx50-hs-review\">several<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.luminous-landscape.com\/reviews\/cameras\/canon_sx_50_review.shtml\">other<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cameralabs.com\/reviews\/Canon_PowerShot_SX50_HS\/index.shtml\">reviews<\/a> as well.<\/p>\n<p>One of the best things about shopping for cameras is that you can see what real people are doing with it.
