Welcome to Accretion Disc! I’m your host, Luke Jones, and this is Accretion Disc, my personal/hobby website.

I’m an ordained teaching elder (formerly called a “minister of Word and Sacrament”) in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). I’m the pastor of a church in Anchorage, Alaska. In that professional capacity, I maintain another website over at Mess of Pottage, where I also host anther blog, But that’s there. This is where I let down my hair and just be myself.
